Laurence Brahm, senior international fellow at the Center for China and Globalization, shared his observations about the changes in terms of people's lives and environment he has seen in Tibet over the past decades.
"There are a lot of efforts right now in regions to address poverty issues to give many more people opportunities to higher education. What often impresses me when I'm filming in extremely remote areas is how even the solar light systems are provided in nomadic regions," Brahm told China Daily, at a forum held on May 19 in Beijing to to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the peaceful liberation of Tibet.
He also mentioned that the culture of various ethnic groups has been perfectly preserved on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, where culture has been given sustainable development.
