Tibet sees more auto exports in 2022

According to Lhasa Customs, 952 domestically-produced automobiles were exported from ports in Tibet autonomous region in 2022, worth 171 million yuan ($25.31 million).

The export of automobiles from Dram Port in Tibet has increased significantly. Xie Qiang, director of Jilong Customs, a subsidiary of Lhasa Customs, introduced that the customs has established a clearance "fast lane" for automobile exports. Customs facilitation measures, such as "declaration in advance", pre-examination of customs clearance documents, rapid verification of licenses, priority arrangements for inspections, have been adopted to improve the efficiency of automobile exports.
