The city has been conducting such annual festivals for 21 years.
This year’s activities include cultural and art shows, blossom views, a gourmet food fair, a motorcycle exhibition, and a supermodel catwalk.
One of the festival venues is Bomi, renowned as the birthplace of the first Tibetan king Nyatri Tsenpo and the hometown of glaciers. It is enriched with natural and cultural tourism resources.
Starting from April 1, the county hosted a series of exciting events, including traditional Tibetan singing and dancing shows and horse races. For example, a vibrant bonfire dancing party was held. The bonfire illuminated the night sky as locals in festive attire and tourists danced around the fire, performing the joyful Gorshey dance.
